Welcome to Xenocide, the MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) that stands above the rest. The objective in the world of Xenocide is to rise above your enemies, gain more power than them, and crush them beneath your iron fist!

To start, here's a brief definition of many of the terms you'll see on this game:

  • Soldiers
Soldiers, also known as "clicks", are a steady, ever-present source of income. You can gain soldiers by having people click the link on your main page. Each person can only click your link once a day, so clicking it over and over again yourself will not help you. For each soldier you get, you receive $10 each turn. Over time, this builds up and will create a lot of supplemental income for you. You are allowed to receive up to 500 clicks each day, and any clicks after this will not count towards your total.
  • Maxout
A maxout is attaining 500 clicks in one day. There are people that will sell you maxouts; just check out the Sell Stuff section on the forum page.
  • Method
A method is a way of achieving a maxout.
  • Power
Power is the combined total of your attack and defense capabilities. Other players can only see your total power and not your amounts of attack and defense.
  • Attack Power
Attack power is what decides whether an attack on another player will be successful. Generally, if you have more attack than they have defense, you win the battle, and steal some of their money. There is a small randomization in the process, therefore you could lose an attack to a user who has less defense than your attack power. Weapons to increase your attack power can be purchased in the store.
  • Defense Power
Defense power is what decides whether an attack by another player on you will be successful. If you have more defense than they have attack, then you have successfully defended their attack, and lose nothing. Weapons to increase your defense power can be purchased in the store.
  • Experience Points
You need to earn experience points in order to advance in level and purchase better upgrades. There are many, many ways to gain experience, you just need to find out how.
  • Turn
A turn in Xenocide is defined as one hour. At the beginning of each turn you receive attacks and turn income from your clicks.
  • Alliance
Players can request alliances amongst one another. Allied players cannot attack each other. Be wise who you choose to ally yourself with. Alliances can be broken at any time by either player.
  • Player Class
When you register, you choose from one of four classes: Smuggler, Kamikaze, Defender, or Marine. Each has it's own advantages. Smugglers receive a 10% income bonus on their income from soldiers. Kamikazes have a 15% attack bonus when engaged in an attack. Defenders have a 20% attack bonus when defending an attack. Marines have a 7% attack bonus when engaged in an attack and a 7% defense bonus when defending attacks. The decision of what you choose should be based on how you will play the game. If you are not very active, it wouldn't be a good choice to be a Smuggler, because you'll just have that money stolen. Smugglers also receive a 2% interest each night (two times that of all others). If you are very active, it wouldn't be very smart to be a Defender since you likely wouldn't be attacked much anyway. Etc, Etc. Keep in mind that the player class you choose will greatly effect how stat point attributes help you.
  • Stat Points
You receive 2 stat points for every level that you increase. You can use your stat points in the level store. There are three attributes you can buy with the stat points: Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Each has it's own benefits. Strength increases your attack bonus, dexterity increases your defense bonus, and intelligence bonus. Also, the corresponding attribute with your player class is affected more greatly than the others. Intelligence points also effect your ability to view other players information. Use your stat points very wisely.

Now, a brief description of each page you will find in Xenocide:

  • Main
The main page shows all the critical information you need to know about your character. Total power, attack, defense, income, clicks, experience points, your level, and your money are all displayed here. This is also where you will find your click link to gain soldiers.
  • Attack
Here, you can attack a specific player. Type in their username, a reason if you wish to give one, and how many attacks (1-15) you wish you use. You can attack someone up to 3 times a day, using up to 15 attacks each time. This will steal approximately 40% of their available money. Banked money cannot be stolen from another user.
  • Covert Ops
Covert Ops is a spy area. Here, you can spend your money on a spy mission to fetch full statistics of other users. Anyone can spy on any other user, but the more intelligence they have over you, the more it will cost you. There is a base fee of $10 million for each covert operation. There is no more cost if you have more intelligence, but if your have less intelligence, there is a randomized amount added to the base fee, which is weighed depending on the difference in intelligence. Use this page wisely. :o)
  • Store
One of the most important pages in the game, the store is where you purchase more weapons to increase your power. You can purchase attack items, defense items, combo items (which increase both attack and defense, for a higher price) as well as critical account upgrades.
  • Level Store
Here you can purchase special weapons based upon what level you are. Each weapon has a specific level requirement, as well as a cost. Most of these Xeno-weapons can only be purchased and used once per level. You may also spend your stat points here.
  • Bank
If you want to save money for any reason, you are strongly urged to place it into your bank. Using the bank is free, and you can deposit however much you have as many times as you like. Money in your bank cannot be seen or stolen ever.
  • Blackjack
Want to try your luck and increase your funds?
  • User List
Here you will find a list of every user in the game (discluding suspended users), along with their power and whether or not you are capable of attacking them. It also lists how much money they have out, and will soon show whether or not you are allied with them and if you have attacked them already today.
  • Allies
This page shows the users you are currently allied with. It also shows those who are requesting an alliance with you, and gives the option of requesting alliances with another player.
  • Online Users
This page shows all of the users currently online. Be careful when withdrawing large sums of money if there are many users online.
  • Suspended Users
Here you can see a list of all players that have been suspended from play, as well as their suspension start and end dates. Suspended players are unable to take any action whatsoever.
  • Attack Log
Here you can see who has attacked you lately, how much they have stolen, and when they attacked you. You can also see who you have attacked lately.
  • Messages
Your inbox is where all messages you receive can be read. You can also use this area to compose messages to other players.
  • My Profile
This page shows you your profile as you currently have it set. Each player's profile you view also has various options, such as messaging them, attacking them, or requesting an alliance.
  • Edit Information
Here you can edit your profile, change your password, and change your contact information.
  • Chat
This is an auto-updating chat area where you can communicate with other users live.
  • Forums
The forums are currently hosted on a seperate domain (thanks to Zac Garrett), and require you to sign up to use the service. Once signed up, you can access valuable information about the game, make suggestions or give feedback, or simply have fun in the off-topic area.
  • Log Out
This option logs you out of Xenocide. You will not be able to play with your character until you log back in again.
  • Flash Games
Bored, or waiting for your next turn?

Always remember, strategy is important in Xenocide. Whether you'd prefer lots of attack power to crush your enemies and steal their money, lots of defense to remain safely behind your walls and collect your turn income, or a balanced approach is up to you, and will greatly impact how powerful you become. It's also important to remember that most of the Xeno-weapons can only be used once, so proper use and timing is crucial.

Have fun, and remember if you ever need help with anything, feel free to message an admin (fixxxer_07 and baseballdude_) or post in the forums where others can help you out.
